You mean 90s and beyond? "Triumph..." "Louder....." and "Warriors....." are all pretty good to me, they got into a lazy slump after that

| Louder Than Hell is the best of the material after Kings of Metal. It's definitely the most consistent. The Triumph of Steel has some worthwhile songs, and is definitely worth owning, but I don't think every song is great. Warriors of the World is a good album that is boring in the middle, but amazing towards the end. | |

| I'm not recommending it since it clearly isn't for everyone (read up on it and make sure to listen to the samples before even thinking of getting it) - but I have always really liked Gods Of War. Would've been shocked by it if I hadn't been prepared for what they were going for on this album. But I find it enjoyable enough for what it is. Oddly it's the latter day Manowar I tend to play the most. Even have the cool steel packaging for it. Love it on trips for some reason. | |

| Other then some songs they're mostly inconsistent to me. Louder is the best imo. | |

| Triumph of Steel and Louder than Hell are really good albums. I actually discovered Manowar on Triumph of Steel. Other than that pair of albums, you should just stick with their 80's classics like Hail to England, Fighting the World, and Kings of Metal. | |

After all the negative thoughts this album was getting, I was surprised to say the least with GoW. Liked this one a lot - great album when played in right conditions.

| Everything after Kings of Metal is absolutely dogcrap imo, with Gods of War being the pinnacle of pure, unadulterated, steaming horsesh!t. | |

| I have yet to hear Gods Of War but the other stuff post Kings Of Metal are all fairly decent but each successive release declined in quality. | |

| Never liked them for some reason, oh I remember now. At The Birch Hill in Old Bridge, N.J., a guy in my band kicked the butt of some guy in that band and we got kicked off the bill. Not only there but at Begger's Opera in Queens the next night. _________________ | |

| I think if you like mid-80s Manowar circa Fighting the World / Kings of Metal then the one I can recommend is Louder Than Hell. Unfortunately, the album suffers from a thin production but the songs are very much in the vein of their mid-80s albums - more to the point, anthemtic, fast numbers.
Triumph of Steel is another one I would recommend; however, beware of the opening track which can get tiring and stale quickly with all the bass and drum solos. Take away those nauseating solos and you end up with a pretty decent track overall - however clocking at 27 minutes it is not a song you will be listening to regularly. The rest of the album fares better and shows Manowar at a heavier / darker side.
All in all these 2 albums are probably their best post-80s releases.

All in all these 2 albums are probably their best post-80s releases. I think Spirit Horse of the Cherokee off of "Triumph Of Steel" is one of Manowar's best songs. I also have Louder Than Hell, but I don't remember much from it. With everyone suggesting it, I guess I should give it another spin.

| I like Manowar but maybe its because I found them to be hilarious, the unintentional homoeroticism, the goofy death to false metal chants, the over the top Conan The Barbarian, The He Men we are more metal then you.
