Haven't listened to it or Tyketto yet but the new Crazy Lixx is good stuff.

i dont know if I like the new Tyketto. It doesnt sound much like Dont come easy, or metal for that matter.
The new Tyketto is borderline country. It's got an AOR edge, but it sure isn't what I expected.
The new Trixter album is excellent. An excellent throwback hard rock album. Blows Tyketto's new one away.

Borderline country? Didn't see that coming. I'll have to check it out just to hear that.

That might be a bit extreme on my part, but to my ears there is definitely an element of modern 'radio" country. You know, that newer style that's kind of more pop-rock. I don't know. There is nothing really heavy about the new album. It has a few moments, I guess, but nothing more.

Samples I found aren't really country to me but the vocals are like a Daughtry or other modern rock where they seem "hot" it that makes sense. I think modern country does that too.

its not what Tyketto used to be, that much is sure. Ill pass on that one. I am excited to get the new trixter, HEAT and Crazy Lixx.
Still really liking that Crazy Lixx album. The new Tyketto isn't very good outside a few songs, IMO. I've never heard a Tyketto album before but this was a pretty soft effort. Not many rockers. Trixter seems decent but I haven't listened to all of it yet.
Yeah, I found "Machine" too. But both songs seem too predictable to me. I think it may be that I know this is "Trixter". If this music came from someone like Wig Wam for example, I'd probably be all over it.
I think I'm having a hard time overcoming the "Trixter stigma".

Well, it's hard rock, which is inherently predictable. Haha.

Very true and I've never been able to figure out in my own mind why I'm OK with repetiveness like AC/DC yet the same trait in Hammerfall bores me.

I've given this new Trixter album 3 or 4 spins. REALLY good.
Just read your review. I knew "Walk With A Stranger" sounded familiar! They actually took a rather weak-sounding demo and made it a really good song. Very cool.
For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, this song is a cover of one of Skid Row's earliest demos.
Also, iTunes and Amazon have an exclusive bonus track called "Find A Memory." It's a good song, but not as good as those on the album. Worth the 99 cents, though.
I went to order this from Amazon but didn't get it. Although the market place had one advertised for less than $9, at checkout it said it was unavailiable. The next availiable prices are around $14. Everything esle I ordered for less than $10 each, including the new Crazy Lixx. I'll wait til I can get a better deal.

Trixter is opening a Dokken/Warrant show here in New Jersey in a week or two... the place will probably be full of people I went to high school with. Which is a good reason to stay away. Haha

Tattoos and Misery is the worst song on the album. I was quite surprised by how good they sound these days.

I don't know about worst, but close to it. Still a good tune, but there were definitely a number of better choices for lead-off single.

I like "Tattoos & Misery" a lot. It's one of my favorites off the album. Sounds like a Lit song.
