| I know this is obscure, but I also know there is a ton of collective hard rock and heavy metal knowledge here, so here goes: looking for a band possibly called Air Repair? or something close to that. Circa 1988, heavy metal, early Queensryche rip off ( according to a buddy of mine back in the day). Some lyrics from a song: Don't believe everything you hear; Just believe half of what you see... These were the opening lines to the only song i can remember.Sorry, I know it's not much but I have faith in you guys! Thanks. Peace. | |

| Drawing a blank here. I can't think of anything even remotely similar to Air Repair that sounds like Queensryche. That would indeed be an odd name for a metal/rock band. Perhaps they were an environmentally conscious band and were on a crusade to clean up air polution. I know of a band called "SIAM" that many use to call a Queensryche rip-off band. I personally like them. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

I do not agree. I think very few bands sound THAT similar to Queensryche. _________________ | |

| It's not AIRRACE by any chance, is it? That was the name of an early band that Jason Bonham was in that released one album in 1984. I'm basing my guess on the name you mentioned alone, because I've never actually heard them. When you said that name, it was the first band I thought of. http://www.woundedbird.com/airrace/219.htm | |

| I doubt he means Airrace. If I remember they were more towards the heavy end of the AOR spectum. Lotta keyboards, etc. Not bad, but I never thought Queensryche when I heard them. | |
