Actually this is not too bad. Never heard of the band before, and hearing the material, I can see this being right up your alley. How did you ever hook up with a California band? They find you or the other way?

Btw, that is quite the cover.
And how did I guess that "Jane" would be a cover? (Which sounds fine over the minute snippet) Overall after listening to all the samples, you seem to have hooked up with a bunch of talented guys. Hopefully you will get to play out with them in a live setting.

Sounds like Journey.
Really though, nice on the vox, good amount of grit and polish.

I somehow missed this but thanks to a disscussion between Spectrefate and James B. I have ordered it as part of my last large CD order for the year.

My only complaint with the album is the drums. Not sure if it's a drum machine, but the drumming sounds very mechanical and generic to me.

It's not a drum machine per se, but I have no doubt that the sounds were sampled/replaced, then the tracks edited. But the initial tracks were John Parker playing his drums. Some engineers can do that so well that only people like S.D. would be able to tell. Then there those albums where you can see the tape and glue...
