| I currently do not have any Over Kill, so I'm wondering where I should start with them, because I would really love to get into them. If anyone has any suggestions please help me out. Thanks. | |

| I'd say Horrorscope is a good place to start. However, there really isn't a bad Overkill CD IMO. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| Yup, mc666 and UncleSaxon nailed it. Feel The Fire and Taking Over are the best starting points. You can then just move through the discography and see their changes, but hear a darn good CD every time! | |

| Thanks dudes, I'll see if I can find their first few discs and go from there. Hopefully the stores around here can order me some. | |

| Yip as stated before me, just start at the begining of their Discography and work your way to present day. I just bought the Killing Kind on vinyl, that LP has eluded me for sometime now (but thanks to MBNA, it mine), my overkill collection on Vinyl is near completion |

| Horrorscope was my introdution to the band many moons ago. After I heard that, I was on a tear to find anything and everything from this band. I agree with Ult. I don't think they've put out a bad cd yet. Are some better than others? Probably. There are definatley some cd's that get more spins than others, but I can't think of any one release that is subpar. | |

| Save for ReliXIV, there isn't a bad Overkill disc. There's something good on all of them. I'd suggest picking up one of their 2 live albums (or the live DVD if you can find it), to get a taste of what they do, then go from there. |

That's just crazy talk. I love "I Hear Black". Listening to it right now, as a matter of fact. | |

| Don't get me wrong. It's not horrible. It's just not indicative of their sound.I wouldn't start out with that one. | |

| i would say dont think about getting anything from the 90's, because like most thrash bands overkill got pretty bad in the 90's. anything from the 80's should do, feel the fire and taking over are the best though. |

| I like I Hear Black a lot, and I was really excited when my brother in law told me how great Horrorscope is. What I realized though is that I guess I'm not that into Overkill that much. I like Doom more than Thrash, and I think I Hear Black was their experiment in Doom. That happens a lot though, a band experiments and might disappoint some old fans, but create some new ones. I feel the same way about unpopular CD's from Voivod, Celtic Frost, etc. | |
