Cloudy and threatening rain. Supposedly Hurricane Irene is gonna whomp our area over the weekend, I guess this would be the first piece of it.

Judging from the forecast for Saturday and Sunday, I'm glad I didn't buy tickets for the air show that's being held at our local airport this weekend. It's gonna be washed out for sure.

Clouds and rain early then clearing this afternoon. Very humid right now.

Watching FNC now and all they have on is hurricane coverage. Looks like you guys are just getting a ton of rain.

for the moment. We are expecting 12 inches from Irene. I discovered the quality of home craftmanship - they installed the threshold backwards on my back door and now the rain is running towards the door

Gotta love it. You never discover that kinda crap until the pressure is on.

I talked to my Mother and she said the Hurricane didn't get very far inland (she's in West Virginia), they just got some rain.

It was hot in Los Angeles today but it's back down to 76 degrees at 6:15pm.

Just a whooooole lotta rainin' going on in Northern New Jersey. Apparently the really heavy duty sh*t from this storm won't reach my area till after midnight.
