I know I'll prolly get pelted with rotten tomaters for this ... but I'm gonna just post it anyway. Feelin' a bit squirrelly I guess.
Any fans of this British synth pop outfit? I have always liked them upon discovering them many years ago - but am just now getting more into their music and collecting all their CDs, etc. Just can't seem to get enough.

I like some of their songs. (West End Girls) is probably my favorite. I have thought of getting their "best of" album...
When i'm not listening to metal i like 80's synth pop like Tears For Fears, Depeche Mode and PSB.

Hit or miss with me, like some of their songs, but overall I see them as a singles band, they can't seem to make an album full of quality songs IMO

I have one of their "Best of" and that was enough for me. I love the song Opportunity (Lets Make Lots Of Money). I also used to love West End Girls until it got played to death.
Funny thing about the Pet Shop Boys for me is for some reason they always made me think "I'd rather be listening to New Order".

Yeah, they're just one of those bands you don't want the full album. The singles are good enough. I feel the same way with Depeche Mode and the other synth pop bands I like.

I disagree. Full albums are great! Most people just hear the singles, but there is some great stuff on the Pet Shop Boys albums I have. No filler ... all killer. Same with Depeche Mode. They do have a few albums with some filler on them, but what band that has been on the landscape for over 20 years doesn't?

I liked a couple of their songs, but I never bought any of their records.
