In the past week:
Italian neo-classical power metal (real power metal, not the Euro stuff)
I now understand the hype about this band. Some of the catchiest damn music my ears have had the pleasure of listening to.
If you like good old fashioned metal, get this. If I didn't know better I would think this was from the late 70s. I sold my copy but you can get this in CD Baby's $5 sale.

You're gradually moving to the glam/sleaze dark side aren't you?
You will be absorbed.

Yep, those two Tull albums are what got me into Celtic rock and Renaissance rock. BTW, seeing Tull in your recent playlists is what made me dig this old chestnut out again.

Of the early Tull albums, Aqualung is my favorite. Heavy Horses, Songs From The Wood and Stormwatch are more "folk rock".

The more folk influenced albums came about when Anderson moved into the country and built his own recording studio onsite.
I don't think there is a single bad Tull album from 1968-1980.

Do you have Ian Anderson's solo albums? I love "Rupee's Dance".
Rupee was one of Ian's kittens; he's a huge cat fan (which of course only enhances my enjoyment of his music.)

The only solo album I've owned was his first classical album (Divinities?), I need to get more...hell, I still need to complete my Tull collection.
I just listened to Roots To Branches the other day and had forgotten what a good album that is, I saw that tour in Seattle back in '96.
