"Blow My Fuse" is a great record. They need to remaster it!

What's wrong with the existing CD version?
Been a while since I listened to it but today I listened to Midnite Dynamite which pre-dates BMF and it sounds fine to me.

The production is too weak IMO. I have to really crank it and add bass to make it sound better. Don't get me wrong... the music is excellent!

As far as the cereal Kix goes, never liked it. I prefer my cereal loaded with sugar.

I haven't heard Cool Kids in it's entirety in a looong time but the standout track off it for me is Body Talk (very different from the rest of their discography). The debut is good,Midnite Dynamite (saw them on this tour-great show!),Blow My Fuse and Hot Wire are just great! All 3 are great from beginning to end. I still need to get Show Business (in fact,I've never even heard a song off it).

S/T and Cool Kids are my fave's, not that they've done a bad release, as you can see by my lyric quote in my original post. Some really quality tunes on those first 2 releases.

I'm missing those earlier Kix albums so I can't really comment on them.

Cool kids was pretty horrendous from what I remember, save for the killer ballad "For Shame". With all of the bands doing reunion albums, I've never been able to figure out why Kix hasn't done one.
If you ever get a chance to catch a live show, do it, they really are fantastic in concert.
Here's a band that I've always thought sounded a bit like Kix.

Show Business is pretty spotty IMO. It does have one of my favorite Kix songs though "911".

Everyone who is a fan of Blow My Fuse and Hot Wire needs to get Show Business immediately. Then go get the others (even the live record is pretty cool).
I was lucky to grow up in Maryland so Kix were the hometown heroes. Never saw a bad show. Never saw a show of their's that wasn't my instant "favorite". They often had Child's Play open for them - a great band also. Go get Rat Race if you can find it and it doesn't cost a fortune.
Every time I listen to a Kix album, aside from all the memories, all I hear are lots of potential hits. What should've been. Thanks Atlantic!
