WASSUP EVERYONE!!!

Hey guys. I'm sorry I was gone sooo long! I had a HECK of a bad year last year. It was very hard.

I ended up in the hospital with a major ear infection and nearly lost my hearing. Thankfully, because of my wife's prayers and a good doctor, I came through it. I have to wear earplugs at every concert now though. I can't believe how foolish I was not to before. And all those shows I saw ... anyway.

I missed hanging out here and feel kinda out of the loop! I hope to stop back by everyday and hang out. I've not really gotten any new music lately, but I'd love to discover what you guys are polluting your ears with.

Wish I could have you guys all over to me new place in Phoenix for a big bash, but that's probably not gonna happen - so please drinks are on the house today! Have a cold one on MB! And enlighten me as to the state of the metal world these days.

Thanks man. All is well now, but I have to wear ear plugs at concerts now. At least I still have my hearing. I almost went deaf. That would have been very tragic for me, as I'm such a music freak! I'd rather die to be honest.

But I had a good doctor and she pulled me through it. God pulled me through it I should say.

I guess I did become a bit of a hermit there for a while too. I took an internet break. Also, I moved to Phoenix from NM - my wife got a killer job offer down here. So it was a very busy year all round.

As for the latest "ear pollution":

Distorted Nation and Michael Monroe's "Sensory Overdrive" have been the best things I've bought this year.

And if you haven't heard Sister Sin's "True Sounds Of The Underground" from last year, check it out PRONTO!

Thanks for the welcome backs you guys! You guys are just some of the coolest peoples I've met online. Seriously, I've posted at quite a few boards over the years, and truthfully - I didn't miss any of them liked I missed HOM.

Toho, I'll check into those - the new Michael Monroe especially intrigues me though. His album, "Not Fakin It" is one of my fave glam metal albums of all time!!! Does the new one compare?

Nope! It's better IMO!

Ginger from The Wildhearts was in the band at the time an wrote or cowrote almost all the tracks. If you like Not Fakin It, check out Sensory Overdrive.

"Distorted Nation" is also a good album by Underride from this year but Distorted Wonderland was what I was referring to.
