| Ok all you Red-Coats out there, since Beckham has come over and will probably begin going to church with the Cruises any week now...I've been trying to watch soccer (which I dispise to watch-love playing) on TV. Last night I turned on the Galaxy game hoping Davey would be playing but he's still hurt. Anyway, I thought it was refreshing to see him at the game, dressed like a pro being serious. If it was one of our athletes in NFL, NBA or NHL (my favorite) they'd watch from home in the man-cave. Anyway, i understand offsides because I'm a huge hockey fan...but give it a rest, they have GOT to change that rule in soccer. I saw two goals called back on that and goals are rare enough anyway!!!! I can't wait to see DB play at 100% | |

| There's no denying that man has talent, I saw him play a few times years ago when he was with Manchester United and they were playing my beloved Everton but it's hard to say how good he realy is nowadays. He wasn't so spectactular last season with Real Madrid from what I saw of their games on the TV (when he wasn't injured of course) but I like the man.
Two goals ? you were blessed, so many times I've traveled to see Soccer (football) matchs only for it to end in a 0-0 stalemate, not that would break even the most loyal fan.
Bring on the Oalkand (or where they may be playing this season) Raiders, the only true game. |

| I was absolutely GLUED to World Cup last year and then right after it was over I sat down to watch and MLS game....and promptly changed channels. I just can't do it outside of the context of Olympics or World Cup..... | |

football!!! It's mostly played with your hands!!! you know, thats a darn good question!! I guess in reality it should really be some sort of spin off from Rugby since the ball is the same shape? Another game I don't get. | |

| Ok, so last night Beckham comes in and plays the final 10 minutes or so of the game. Galaxy almost scored three times! It was like a whole different team when he got out there. All the guys that had the finishing chances just choked! | |

| wooohoooo!!! Sick first goal for Beckham!!! And really, that was his first full game! I don't know why, but i'm hooked on pulling for that guy. I just admire his courage in relocating to a whole new continent and country, and his attitude. Great, humble guy. Our pro's could certainly learn a thing or two.....Hey, maybe we can set him up in Dog Fighting on the side????? | |
