Anybody collecting/have vinyls from Metal Enterprises Records (bands like: Beast, Black Virgin, Godzilla, Simon, Killer Fox, Thrash Queen)? The label worked in late 80s. Is it worth collecting their releases?

It should be! They played typical german/austrian heavy/speed metal those times

Can't say that I've heard any of them. Have to ask the MetalGiant, Olaf. He's from Germany and very much into the underground stuff.

I have many of vinyls on that label, and some are better then others. For exemple the two KILLER FOX albums are bad. The band had a cool image (thats why i bought those albums back in the early 90s), very much like KISS but the songs are just bad. I like the BLACK VIRGIN album. HAMMERS RULE are some of my fave bands and they were on the label too. EXPECT NO MERCY also had two albums on the label and they kills. DANGEROUS NIGHTS by HEAVEN WARD is one of the best of the label. EXTREME NAPALM TERROR did a very bad album but again because the great record cover i bought it. MAD BUTCHER and RANDOM did some good albums for the label. Like you can see, this was not the best label but some lps were okay.

Never heard of the label, or any of the bands Krokus mentioned, but curiosity prompted me to do some Googling and I came across some of 'em on good ole YouTube. Yikes!!
"Thrash Queen" are the first band up, below the video is some of the YouTube poster's commentary:
THRASH QUEEN "Ashes To Ashes" (1990)
Thrash Queen were an all-female Thrash Metal Band that released one album entitled "Manslayer" in 1985 through Lanslyde Records. It was later reissued on Ingo Nowotny's infamous Metal Enteprises label. Around 1990 Nowotny and some studio musicians cheaply produced some fake follow up records of previous ME Bands. Such as the second albums by Killer Fox, Kalaschnikov, Godzilla, etc. These records sound very similar to each other but bare little to no resemblance to the original bands. "Ashes To Ashes" is probably the one record where they put the least effort into. 3 of the 7 tracks on this record are crappy and unlistenable instrumental "ambient" pieces (such as "Ashes To Ashes"). The other 4 songs mostly consist of generic guitar riffs accompanied by a drum computer (as all other fake follow ups), and a annoying female voice chanting random things. The riffs and the chanting are looped over and over again, so all of these "songs" last 7-10 minutes.
Then there's "Killer Fox," who can be heard here:
Metal Enterprises from Germany might be one of the weirdest and most unique (in a bad sense) metal labels that ever existed, and Killer Fox were one of its strange fruits. Released in 1990 "Orgasm Of Death" wasn't recorded by the actually at that time disbanded american band that did their debut "All You Can Eat" in 1986 (of which half of the members died in an accident in 1987), but recorded by the Metal Enterprises staff themselves for a cheap cash-in. The result was so unbelievably bad that it's nearly bizarre : robot voices, drum machines, cheesy nonsense lyrics, ultra long intros, weird non-riffs and a vocalist with a style similar to a really annoying old hag. They did a lot of self recorded bullsh*t with crappy album covers under the name of disbanded bands of which they put out one or two albums sometimes in the past e.g. Kalaschnikov, Thrash Queen, Godzilla, etc. Not that most of the original bands were that good either but none of them were that demented...
Um...wow. Going by what I hear on these clips, these records may be interesting in a collectible sense, but they certainly aren't worth listening to!!

I'll take your word for it. I never got farther than the Thrash Queen portion of that clip.
Found another Thrash Queen clip that may be even worse than the one posted above:
Good Lord! This may be the worst band I've ever heard. And before anybody asks, YES, that means they're even worse than KILLEN. Talk about bottom-of-the-barrel! Geez.

i just downloaded the Manslayer album, & i kinda like it. it sounds more punk than thrash to me, both in production & music though.

Haha, if you say so. I've listened to that clip a couple of times now and it doesn't even sound like all the band members were playing the same song...

I can only admire any label willing to put out stuff like Thrash Queen. They are either uber-brilliant entrepreneurs, or deaf

Apparently talent wasn't necessary to get signed.

The production on that Thrash Queen album (Manslayer) has to be the worst I have ever heard. The production is even worse than those of poorly produced demos. Yes, even the worst sounding demo I can think of sounds better than the production on Manslayer, a proper full length.
Although the production is better on the fake band Thrash Queen's album (Ashes to Ashes), they might actually be an even worse band overall.

Well, well, well.
It looks like Stormspell Records is actually reissuing one of the albums originally put out by Metal Enterprises. They're reissuing the second album by Mad Butcher, titled Metal Meat.
Doesn't the cover art look just like the butcher Destruction (who have a song called Mad Butcher) used?

It does RF. When I first heard of Mad Butcher (the band), i thought it was a reference to Destruction.
Speaking of the latter, i recently ordered their thrash anthems vol1 on cd. Mad Butcher is one of my favourite songs by the band and i loved the remake.
