I finally got both Striker albums and their EP. Good stuff! Armed To The Teeth is really good and sounds like an album that would have been released in 1985. Great job! The lead singer sounds like Harry "The Tyrant" Conklin in several spots, especially on the first album. Their song "Lethal Force" sounds like Vicious Rumors with Carl Albert!

I need to pick up Armed to the Teeth. And now City of Gold as well I suppose.
And an FYI for those folks looking for Striker albums. Their debut, Eyes in the Night, was re-released with their ep, Road Warrior, added as bonus tracks. One track was omitted (A Grim Reaper cover of 'You'll Wish You Were Never Born'), but it's a cheaper and easier alternative than trying to track down the original ep.
And in keeping with the ongoing 'Airplane' banter...
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

Two Minutes To Midnight (Bonus Track) 13. Watching You (Bonus track) 14. Roll With The Punches (Bonus track) 15. F*ck Volcanoes (Bonus track)

Just got home from seeing Striker tonight. (They were a co headliner alongside West Of Hell.) Killer band live and they played three new songs - City Of Gold, All For One and Mind Control. Incredibly tight and had a fantastic sound from the soundman in the hall. They were a part of a fest some guys in my small town of 7000 put on. About 300 people at the show. Added bonus, Mortillery played as well. Extra added bonus- picked up City Of Gold as soon as they opened the box. First person in Canada to get it.

It's really good. Not as strong as the last record, but it's filled with fun speed metal songs. You won't be disappointed with it.

This music forum is seriously doing my bank balance some real damage. After all the styles of music I play and listen to - I find so much new stuff I like the sound of (sucker for getting new music). Just added their albums to my ever growing list of stuff to get. I might be poor, but I've got a fooking amazing record collection building.

OK band. They lose their momentum after a few songs.
Still better than Cauldron or Axxion, if only by a c*nt hair.

The debut with the Road Warrior EP and Armed To The Teeth.
A great find along with albums from Dust Bolt, Sabaton, Onslaught, and the expanded version of Keepers Pt. 2. Sadly, finding treasure like that in places that sell used CDs is rare these days.

Dust bolt is an excellent thrash metal band. Which albums did you get?
