I think the whole power metal genre is so over saturated now...
At one time or another, that happens in every genre of music.
It is saturated indeed, but is still quite enjoyable in general.

I still find some enjoyment but I dont go digging nearly as much since glam/sleaze got ahold of me...

Actually I think it has slowed down abit. I think the sleaz glam metal genre is the thing today.

New label and a new album in the making... Sinbreed: signs with AFM Records!
Their debut album "When Worlds Collide" SINBREED caused quite a stir in the scene already with their Melodic Speed Metal that comes across without keyboards, but with strong choruses and balls.
The band has now signed a contract with AFM Records and will release their second album next year. Blind Guardian guitarist Marcus Siepen has also joined the group’s ranks.
Guitarist Flo Laurin comments: "We are really excited to work with AFM. Now that we've got the new line-up ready and the new record is in the making, we are looking forward to work with such a strong and experienced partner who is deep-seated in the metal scene. Great things to come."
SINBREED line-up: Herbie Langhans - Vocals Flo Laurin - Guitars Marcus Siepen - Guitars Frederik Ehmke - Drums Alexander Schulz - bass

Good news. I hope they diversify the sound though, the first album all the songs are pretty similar.

Agreed. I'd love it if they went closer to the sound of the last few Seventh Avenue albums. But I'm a fanboy of that band, which was my main interest in Sinbreed.

That'd be cool except for Terium. Too long and seemed to drag. Between the Worlds is excellent, my fave by them followed by Eternals.

I love Terium, but a few songs toward the end could've been dropped. I think I like Eternals a bit better than BTW, but they're both fantastic.

I also agree.. I think these guys have the potential to make a monster album.. But they need make the next one less similar sounding.

I never liked Seventh Avenue, so it follows I didn't care much for this when I heard the samples...

+1. Really loved the balance between fluff and aggressive speed that Seven Avenue had, and I'm in the same boat when it comes to Herbie being what got me into Sinbreed in the first place. I think some brought over influence from the now disbanded SA would be a nice change of pace.

Hopefully, being that they seem a full band now rathen then just a one off, they show a lot of growth.

Dude, that song from 'Terium' is even better than the Sinbreed stuff. Is that whole album like that? I was not into the last Seventh Avenue I heard...

Not all of Terium is like that, it's a concept album that is very long. Some though is very good but it does drag imo.
