| I bet this is really big news out there. I think somebody accidentally hit "the button" and now won't own up to it. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Perhaps it's a new way to put fear into us so we can give the government and the police state more control. | |

Quick! Put on a tin foil hat. It'll deflect the psionic waves that are doubtlessly being broadcasted from the missile. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I just saw on the news that the Pentagon is floating the idea that it might be a jet who's contrail was distorted by atmospheric conditions. Yeah, right; that's the ticket. A jet. This gets more and more Roswell-esque. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I saw the video and that is no airplane contrail! Somebody launched something, I just hope it wasn't the North Koreans or the Chinese sneaking a sub over here to make a point. If it was one of ours launched by accident, someone better fess up quick! | |

| Perhaps it was a SPECTRE missile launch thwarted by James Bond, causing it to misfire. | |

| Yeah, exactly. Prevailing consensus among "experts" appears to be that this was some private rocketeer. Which doesn't make it any less worrisome in my book; in fact, that may be worse. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I heard on the news this AM some "expert" said it wasn't a rocket. I hope the media doesn;t let this go until we get answer. But the government will probably shut them down and they probably already know the truth

| I could see maybe a private rocketeer type doing that sort of thing, then afraid they've gotten into trouble. If it was N. Korea or China or even some rogue terrorists, I think they'd be bragging about it. Have they actually found the rocket/missle? So far, all I've heard is about it's flight pattern. What goes up must come down, right? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | Except it came down somewhere in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I would think finding it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Maybe some government worker thought he hit the "LUNCH" button? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

Maybe some government worker thought he hit the "LUNCH" button? LOL!!!!! They hauled out some so called "expert" saying that the "trail wasn't consistent with a rocket" and that it "changed directions" Either it's obama trying to use fear to keep control of the people, some other country giving us the middle finger or a alien in origin.
