I'm sorry but I really loved Temptation but since going back to a more death/metalcore sound I just can't get back into these guys. This particular album while containing some elements of Temptation sounds too much like a Soilwork clone to my ears (even though I doubt that's what they were going for-it just sounds like it to my ears.

All About Eve-Touched By Jesus (along with Iona, this is now my favorite non-metal, female fronted group)
Samael-Xystras (piano and keyboard versions of songs from Passage-dark, beautiful, & well played by Xy)

Oh, forgot yesterday and last night's playlist. After my mall stop I listened to:

Elevenking-Two Tragedy Poets And A Caravan Of Weird Figures (love the cover of Belinda Carlise's Heaven's A Place On Earth-allows me to sing along to a song I like without feeling like a pansy)

ReVamp-s/t (After Forever's break-up wasn't a bad thing for Floor-this is better than anything I heard from After Forever-also anything that has Russell Allen guest appearing is welcome in my book)

Yngwie Malmsteen-Relentless (another good album with Ripper-a tad too long though)

Daath-Daath (these guys never cease to amaze me with their awesome brand of industrial tinged death metal, another stellar album from these guys)

Really? I don't here Soilwork and I don't hear core. I hear somd Kingdom of Sorrow and BLS influence. I'm loving this.

it is a funny cover. I like Final Warning the best. It is dated sounding but its good. I like that the sound is old and not 'fixed'. The second one doesnt do much for me though.

Remember, people hear things differently. As I said, to my ears it sounds like that.
