Is anyone here a fan of The Smiths ( waits as laughter calms). The song "How Soon Is Now", is one of my all time favorite songs. What is a good cd to begin with to check these guys out?

I really like a ton of SMITHS material musically...love that whoe 80's English college music sound (THE CURE, THE SMITHS, ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN...)
But Morrsey's vox suck in a big whiney way and tend to ruin the experience...
"Bigmouth Strikes Again" is a kick ass song by them....

"How Soon is Now" is a cool tune with some great guitar work and effects, but that's as far as I can go with them.
