Man, these guys still sound fantastic! Andrew Elt's vocals are killer!
Wonder how a new album will sound?

All I remember about these guys, was that "Paradise song", that sounded totally different than their other stuff.

I used to see that SCREWED BLUED & TATTOOED album in cut-out bins all the time during the 90s but never picked one up. A couple of years ago I checked out some of their songs on YouTube and thought they were pretty decent so I went looking for it...and of course, not a trace anywhere. Dang. Shoulda pulled the trigger on it when I had the chance.

Same here. I remember seeing copies in the used bins all the time, but never bothered to check them out. I've since heard them on sattellite radio and they are better than I thought. I think the named kinda turned me off too.
So judging from Brown-Eye's original post, do this mean these guy's are reforming or something?

One of my favs. Saw them at the Rock-It Club in Tampa back around '89. Very talented! I still have all four of their cds [and a cdr of their first - but that one is not great].

Powertool is very under-rated IMO. Years earlier "I Don't Want To Live Without You" would have been a big radio hit.
They were one of those bands that I saw the ad for the Screwed album and knew I had to have it based just on the title. Funny to think how effective a magazine ad was in those days in getting me to buy. Even stranger was how many great bands I discovered blind buying that way.
I know the Screwed album had gone way up in price for awhile. But I've recently seen a few copies in the used bins. Last time I checked the online price was way down too.

I like both Screwed and Powertool. Been meaning to pick up a copy of each (reissued or original).

Bought S.B.&T - 1990 release - They were signed by Atlantic ( too bad it wasn't 1985 )
A strong touch of the Motley Crue / GnR party vibe -
Not bad - and the lyrics seem to speak of sordid, devil may care, stories.
I looked them up on Wiki - and they were the opening act for for Skid Row 1990.
A glam metal band formed in 1987 in the Netherlands -
Grunge scene stepped in, as we all know

I still spin S,B&T occasionally (looking at that as I type, "S,B&T" sure looks like some sexual acronym).
I actually like the album a lot even now and while "Stranger Than Paradise" really doesn't sound like the rest of the album, I think it's one of the better "power ballads" from that era.

I want to say it was around 2005/ 2006 that I went to a 4th of July cookout at a then co workers house. I got talking to one of his friends about "hair" Metal and this guy wouldn't shut up about the Sleeze Beez. I get home that night and I check them out online and they are ...awesome! I then go to ebay and the prices for all their stuff is just stupid expensive. So, on the ever expanding "want list" they go. A few summers back, I finally get around to picking up S,B,&T and Powertool. Both great albums, but I love Screwed. It's just such a "fun" listen and of course, a product of it's time. Every song is killer, no filler. The first album with a different vocalist (I think) is still way up there in price. I would have to look up what I paid for both discs, but I don't think it was more than like $10 a piece for two originals.
