during the live earth concert of which metallica played at the wembley leg one of the presenters of the tv show made the comment
"its a shame all those rainforests were destroyed but metallica survived"

Yeah, it doesn't matter. It was like when Terry Wogan slagged off Lordi during Eurovision and then Lordi won. He had to bite his tongue then, especially seeing as Britain gave them 12 points. Having said that, Wogan's Eurovision commentary is generally pretty accurate.
(and yes, I watch Eurovision. I am well aware I have issues.)
