Firewind - Days of Defiance

Now this is what Gus is supposed to sound like.

One of the best bands out there IMO.. awesome....

I know nothing of this band. In fact,that's the first time I've heard anything from Firewind. Sounds pretty good to me.

I like how some of the YouTube comments think it's a side band of Ozzy's guitar player.

That's not enough to really tell me anything.

While their last album contained their best song ever IMO ("Mercenary Man"), overall I found it pretty repetitive.

I need to hear more before I decide whether to buy or not.

I knew this was gonna happen when Gus G joined Ozzy. Those fans are clueless to what is actually out there. Those think Gus G was a new find for Ozzy and don't know Gus has been around for about a decade now. Just goes to show how clueless those peeps are!

At least maybe they'll discover some of his bands because of playing for Ozzy.

yeah. they are not bad for a ozzy side band...

The boys turned it up a notch on some songs here, the opener, The Ark of Lies is one of the most aggressive songs by FW yet. I think this is a step up from the last couple albums and those were great.

I am going to get this one soon! I have heard nothing but good stuff from people on this one.

is the digi with 3 bonus tracks the one everyone has been getting?
