Any fans of this band? Just received 'Social Intercourse' in the mail. Not sure how this female-fronted sleaze band escaped my attention for so long. Good stuff. Anyone else familiar with them? Opinions?

Big Fan here Ult.Social Intercourse is a great sleaze album.I think what draws me to this band is the vocals.Because I normally dont care for female fronted bands but she doesnt really sound like one.

Love 'em 'Social Intercourse' is a classic sleeze metal album and featured killer tunes as the love songs 'Leg Up' 'Lick Into Shape' and ' 17 Going on Crazy', when I get home I need to dig these out of my archieves a give it a spin, it has been years since I listened to this album.

Great sleazy band!! Social Intercourse is a great album. I have it on tape and would like to find it on cd.

This is in my top 3 Sleaze discs of all time...and has been a Shiney staple since I first bought it on tape in 1988. Sally Cato was hot and had a great voice. They should have been much larger than they were.

They gained for fame for their appearance on the Morton Downey jr. Show than their music...

"Social Intercourse" was reissued last year, I think..

"Eye Of The Storm" took a while to grow on me but now I think the whole thing is stellar. I've seen/heard rumors about a second album for years but I've never seen it for sale or know if it even actually exists.

I've heard their was a follow up album too. But have never seen it. It could be one of those things where it was recorded and the record company shelved it.

I’m a fan of them. I have two of their CDs. They have two different versions of two songs.
Eye of the Storm is done better than on S.I. Imagine having a lead guitarist named Bart ? Ha !
I did hear through the grapevine that Sally was a groupie - for Motley Crue.

They were damn good. So many story songs. Have no idea how it fell apart for them.

You know, I've certainly heard of the band and recognize the cover to Social Intercourse, but I don't think I've ever heard one song from them. I'll have to check them out.

That sucks, loved Smashed Gladys, they had right degree of sleeze but with a sense of humor. I always wondered what happened to her and the rest of the band. Very little information on them, especially if consider they were on a major label.
