Yeah, seeing the soundtrack CD in the playlist thread inspired me to start this one. Have you seen some of the websites dedicated to this movie? Man, some poeple are obsessed!
Love all the movies you listed, FF. Well, haven't seen Rock 'n' Roll High School yet though...

I remember watching The Wraith many times with my Dad as a young fella. Not bad, actually.

The Thing is one of my all time favorites. To this day every time I see Wilford Brimley and his diabetes commercials, I think of that movie.

I just saw this (for the first time) a couple of weeks ago. It was funny in spots but overall I was kinda disappointed. I guess I expected it to be even MORE nasty and offensive than it was, given its semi-legendary rep.

Even "Spy Hard," "Re-Possessed," and "Dracula: Dead and Loving It?" You have a strong stomach, my friend.

I like just about every Argento movie, but never considered Deep Red (or Profondo Rosso as it is called originally) a favorite. Cool choice though.

'Deep Red' is cool, my Argento is probably 'Tenebrae'.

Argento generally bores me; he spends too much time on "arty" shots for my money.
The one exception might be Phenomona but even that one has too much weird stuff that really doesn't have anything to do with the overall plot.
These days I'm more into the gross-out directors like Takashi Miike who deliver the gore but still know how to make a movie. Check out Audition (a movie I should have mentioned as one of my favorites earlier in this thread).

It's one of my favorite movies of all time. Everything about it is just perfect imo. Supposedly George Romero (!!) is working of a 3D remake of Deep Red. Should make for an interesting film...

the "arty" stuff is why I watch Argento in the first place.
