| Wooden TV FTW. When was the last time you bought something that could serve as televised entertainment, a desk, a shelf, a dinner table.....?
That's how we do it here in the South at least.. | |

| In the early 80's, most of our entertainment equipment was from the early 70s sometime.
We didn't buy a color television until 1983. (the B&W lasted for about 13 years)
My early 80's stereo was a late 60's Magnavox all-in-one unit with the fold down turntable and removable speakers (thought it sounded kick ass).
My Atari 2600 sadly did not survive as one of the puppies we got decided to eat all the cables to it.

| I remember our first VCR had a dial on it to change channels for recording. And yea *sigh*, I had a calculator watch. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| Great stuff. Remember the first big screens? My Mom won a 60 inch and the sucker was so huge and heavy we left it in the basement when we moved. |

| I had one of those Casio calculators, I tough they were the nicest thing out there, until SOMEONE stole it . I also used to have those VCR's, I remember it was a pain to set the time up, and to press the red record button by mistake and messed up many vhs | |

| You gotta press record at the right time with the right tape, dood. Unless you really really dig that cheesy HBO intro. Which I do (the old old one). I still have VCR, it's part of my unholy DVD/VCR Zenith combo with full surround sound. | |
