I'm sure it's been listed before and if you get bent out of shape just relax....

An edited version just appeared on VH1C last nite and it was AWESOME....

Anyone else see this piece of cinematic brilliance?????

All is right with the world....

Yeah I watched it on Palladia HD I thought it was an amazing doc. I ordered the DVD so will be able to watch the dvd in full details instead of the shortened version.

I watched about 20 minutes of it Saturday night. I'm a casual Rush fan at best, but this did look interesting. I set the Tivo to record it and I'll watch it at some point.

I have not seen it yet but so far I liked all three of Sam Dunn's films and he is currently working on a doc on the history of metal with Martin Popoff working as a consultant so that should be interesting.

loved it. Lots of never seen before footage and interviews. I'm sure the DVD will have tons more. They did and A+ job on it. Spent alot of time on the glory years, only about 2 minutes talking about HYF, and alot of time talking about their 5 year absence and return.

I saw it at the local theater a couple of weeks ago. It was good. Seeing Neil Peart pound the kit is always a treat.

I saw it and thought that it was awesome. This is the first real documentary about a very private group of guys. I'm debating whether to also get it on Blu-Ray tomorrow.

Undoubtedly it was edited down for VH1C due to commercial time....

No mention of any live album or Grave Under Pressure.... played a lot of stuff but no discussion.... No real discussion of Kings either....

Hopefully some of the bonus material will be the abandoned 1997 live DVD... to accompany 'Different Stages...'

I've watched my Tivo'd version 3x's now..... Money is a tight situation right now.... so hopefully I'll be able to get it sooner rather than later....

blessings dudes

I picked up the two disc set yesterday and have been floored by how well done this is. I have seen and enjoyed all three previous documentaries by Samm Dunn; and can honestly say this is the best so far.

Just finished watching this, and it was incredible. Nice to get a closer look into a band you love. Also lets you appreciate them as people and not just rock musicians. Well done documentary.

Grave Under Pressure, that's awesome.

I haven't seen this one yet, waiting till I can pick up the blu ray version. But I'm definitely looking forward to it, I thought the Maiden documentary was incredible.

I think that that dinner that they had would have been really awesome to be at. They just seem like really down to earth fun guys.

I'm thinking about picking this up on bluray. Seeing Neil Peart kick ass in high def is totally worth it. Very Happy

You need 1080i just to fit his entire drum set in the shot.

This flick was on VH1 Classic again the other night during the wee hours, so I recorded it while I slept. Hope to catch it over the weekend sometime.
