They had several albums in the NWOBHM era. They were one of those strange melodic bands like Demon or Saracen or White Spirit that were awfully cheesy indeed, but in a good way. I think these bands were trying to mix Deep Purple with Styx.
Nightwing came from a previous 70's band called Strife, who were actually better if you like Hawkwind mixed with Slade type stuff.
