I, like many others, prefer the Bruce stuff over everything else. However, I enjoyed the first Blaze album throughout and Killers is one of my top 5 Maiden albums

Great to see the love Killers rightfully deserves - some people dismiss it just because Bruce is not singing on it - to me that is absurd and ridiculous. Also - check the solo Blaze albums - those things really show Blaze in a diffrent light and as a great vocalist.

Metallica - Kill'em All

I was listening to Avril Lavigne today. i was in the mood for some Canadian Metal :^) Actually I was listening to Delain. If you really like female fronted bands this is a good metal band. though if you don't like Within Temptation you might not enjoy this that much. It does have more of a rock feel than Within Temptation, but still good.

Sadder still is that Steve Harris holds that album in low regards as well and that's why the only song they perform from this album to this day is Wrathchild. Which, while not a bad song, is IMO the weakest song on theat album. BTW, Defiance does a wicked cover of Killers on Void Terra Firma.

I actually love Wrathchild totally. That bouncy bass lick is awesome. And the intense middle part is stuff of legend. Only song I'm not too keen on is Prodigal Son - I would prefer an all-out rockin album. But Killers is really excellent - dunno why Harris does not like it - it has very good production and great songs - Purgatory, Killers, Murders In The Rue Morgue would do the set great.

Huh, Prodigal Son is one of my favoirte tracks off that album.

Hahaha. It's not a bad song - very good actually. But I prefer my Di'Anno Maiden rockin' as hard as possible.
