Man, its rolling in today, first Captain America and now Thor.
Supposedly his helmet is confirmed but it's not shown in these pics.

Hmmm, I don't know. It seems too spacey sci-fi somehow. Maybe it's the big silver buttons.

The first pic looks like Will Ferrell, the second looks like Heath Ledger.

I'm glad they're going with the current comic book look and not the lame strewn-together "classic" look.

Chris Hemsworth. More or less an unknown. He's done mostly tv work and a handful of movies. He was in the last Star Trek movie as "George Kirk". Never saw it. Is that Capatin Kirk's brother or something?

George Kirk was Captain Kirk's dad, he was just in the very beginning of the Star Trek movie

Looks good but needs to be less plastic-y and obvious in color..this is a hard costume to pull off in a movie setting but it can be done..

First impression? Looks like allot of the movie is spent with him not being Thor. Never a good sign. Otherwise looks kinda neat.

No sound at teh work, but looks cooler than I expected. Honestly, I haven't really liked any of the Marvel movies so far, and since half of them are in 'reboot' mode as well I know they can't just screw up again and then try to do it right, etc...so if it sucks now..it's going to always suck. This looks like it may suck less.......but the problem with this is if I end up liking this, then I need to see the 'Avengers' movie which I'm not thinking hugely of because of the craziness already going on with the lineup.. Norton being replaced, Cap looks bizarre, Nick Fury is Samuel L Jackson..etc.

I wasn't a big Thor fan growing up, so it's unlikely that I'd see this one until it shows up on basic cable sometime in 2012. It might be cool, but I just don't rush out to theaters for movies much these days.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with that Avengers movie. Could be a cluster-f*ck of too many characters, sort of like when they throw too many villans into other comic book movies.

Looks better than I expected. I don't know much about Thor...never followed it....but hopefully it won't be 90% normal dude with 10% Thor action.

Looks cool but I was never a Thor fan so I have zero interest in the movie. Even in my hardcore comic collecting/geek days, when I had about 5000+ books, maybe five of them (at most) were "Thor" issues. He just never did much for me.
