Help!!!

i have gone to the 'download' festival held in donnington for the past
two years and this year i'm considering not going. This year My
Chemical Romance, Linkin Park and Iron Maiden are headlining. I love
Maiden but WTF is with the other two? this is bullsh*t. even tho i'm
pretty sure most of u are american so ur not going, help me out and
sign this petition to get it changed. Peace

While I loathe LINKIN PARK and think their name should not ever be uttered in the same sentence as "metal"...let alone headline a metal festival (is that what that Download thing is?)

I must admit that I have heard the new MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE cd and it's pretty good. It has alot of metal elements (most glammish and 70's metal nods) but it's an overall decent listen.

Just my 2 cents...I apologize for my lack of knowledge of festivals and stuff.

I remember the good ould days when WASP / Kiss / Cinderella and the likes were playing but now .........

I went to Download last year and it was pretty incredible. It was a very good line up. I won't be making it this year, but I do agree that Linkin Park and MCR shouldn't be headlining, especially so the former. However, Maiden in the headlining list more than makes up for it.
