| I know we have some UFO fans here! I'm clost to finalizing my collection with the addition of Strangers In The Night & Obsession along with Too Hot To Handle on DVD. Having watched "Too Hot To Handle" the day I got it this band should have been bigger than they were. I have always loved UFO in the early years and later on to now. Michael Schenker was suck a great guitar player in the band you can definitely hear his influences compared to the other guitar players. All had different styles but Michael was the man in UFO. And never really hearing "Strangers In The Night" but after I did wow what an amzing live album to me one of the best live albums of all time along with Tokyo Tapes from the Scorps! Thoughts? | Definitely one of the best live albums around. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I have to say I know virtually nothing about this band. I don't think I've ever heard one song of theirs.I'd like to check them out someday. | |

| Love UFO. I need to get their most recent studio album and their last live album. Finally secured a copy of Misdemeanor on CD, though I also have it on vinyl. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I never ventured past their Greatest Hits disc. It's a good'un, but I just don't have the knowledge, money or desire to dig any further. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | I <3 UFO. Unfortunately their CDs are damn hard to find for less than a billion dollars, so the only three I own are "Phenomenon", "Strangers In The Night", and "You Are Here" (my personal favorite). | |

| Start with phenomenon and then progress an album at a time in order. Do it like us old farts did it. Experience the growth of the band in both songwriting and playing from year to year and lp to lp. Schenker is an amzing player. The Paul Chapman stuff gets overlooked by most. I like the Atomic Tommy stuff (what a moniker) but the songwriting isn't as solid. UFO was a very crucial aspect of my experince in both listening to music and learning to play music with others. The first person I ever heard do a Schenker solo note for note in a gargage in front of my eyes was Bill Menchen. UFO rocks ! _________________ | |
