So far I'm diggin' it. Of the songs I've listened to so far the only one I didn't really care for was "St. Peter's Cross".

This band's songwriting has come a long way since their first album IMO.

My problem with St Anger is mostly the drumming I think alot of the songs are decent. As for lack of guitar solos , that doesnt make a difference to me. It definitly has grown on me to say the least.

Yeah, I agree. "St. Anger" isn't the worst album in the world people make it out to be.

Taken for what it is (garage jamming basically), it's an okay album.

Still my least fave from Metallica though.

Its not my fav by Metallica either but I really do like the songs Frantic, Invisible Kid, Sweet Amber and Some Kind of Monster

Definitly not the worst album in the world.... not sure who gets that honor

I think Lars' drumming is his best on St. Anger, just the snare was hard to get used too.

Its funny in my cd book I got United Abominations, Youthanasia, Countdown to Extinction, Endgame, and Rust in Peace but i seem to only play 2 of them lol

No, not sonically is it his best drumming but playing wise IMO it is hehe.
