| I disagree that Dio's solo stuff is not as good as his stints in Rainbow and Black Sabbath. Sure those are worthy albums and all ... but Dio (the band) is a force to be reckoned with folks. They led a big part of the charge of American metal in the 80s. Much respect is due them. I think ALL the stuff Dio has been on is good. Even Elf for that matter, though to a much lesser degree. But I'd rather listen to Elf than a lot of other stuff from the same era. | |

| Dio is simply amazing However, when it comes to Black Sabbath, i prefer Tony Martin's era much more. His voice on Headless Cross is far better then dio's. | |
