PostSubject: My puppie!   My puppie! Icon_minitimeSun Mar 21, 2010 1:54 am

She was rescued by a friend a week ago in very bad shape, I didn't know and I asked her if she knew about a puppy I could adopt since that was something I wanted to do long time ago and now I don't see any reason to delay and she told me she rescued a 2 moth old puppy! When I hear what happened to this puppy and the conditions my friend rescued her I didn't have any question or even look at any picture. The puppy HAD to be part of my family!

So, I am very happy and proud to introduce you to Nina. We went this morning to meet her at the vet because she is still getting treated for some burns and a skin infection.

Cute puppy My puppie! Icon_biggrin .
I`m sure she will be happy with you, it`s a bit sad to see all those dogs that needs adoption.
A lot of people get dogs without thinking through all the work and responcability it is to have one.
Way to go Ligitaz.

I'm always stunned at the things people can do to innocent animals.

I thought she was new too!

Turns out she's been a member here since last June! She's from Mexico City, which I think is awesome!

We need more of a female crowd around here. I am really hoping she hangs with us!!

what he said...

I adopted a puppy a few years ago it was the best 50 dollars I spent, I got my money's worth just after the first 20 mins after getting her.

I sure enjoy the animals that have found a home at my place, even though some of them have special needs. It's a very rewarding responsibility.

Same here. I'd like a few minutes alone with these people and to quote Marsellus Wallace "get medieval on their asses".

Good luck with the pup.

What kind of animals do you have? Do you live on a farm?

Yes, in "Dairy country". I only have two goats and three former "barn" cats (now house cats) right now; but I have had a pet cow, rabbit, dogs, etc. I'm proud to say most of them lived to old age. The Rabbit lived in the house. The cow had to live outside because I couldn't get it litter box trained.

Yeah, they do. Their eyes are like "Please adopt me before someone else does something horrible to me."

It's why I can't volunteer at my local shelter.
