We actually have a hook in the wall behind the tree, with a piece of string tied around the center of the tree trunk attached to the hook...so Evil Kitteh can't tip it over. We had a few near-misses with it during her kitten hood so even though she's mellowed somewhat with age, we still don't take chances. Laughing

With two cats around, I gave up putting up a Christmas tree long ago. The year I put one up 4 times was the clincher.

Back when Evil Kitteh was still a kitten, my wife heard a racket in the middle of the night, went out to the living room and found the cat resting on a branch about halfway up the tree. Laughing very hard
