Yeah, I know what part you are referring to. Lots of plains and rolling hills up that way.

My family is on the western side of the state, over by the Canada and Idaho borders.

Okay here are some brand new ones ...

This is my cat London. He's my big boy. He loves to sit down on the couch with me while I'm watching movies.

Very smart cat. He's also very picky. He doesn't like water if it's not totally fresh. He first goes to the bathroom door (like shown), and then jumps in the bathtub. He will only drink water fresh out of the tap. He's got expensive taste lol.

In those pics he looks more like a shaggy Siamese than a Maine Coon.

No, he's always looked like that. The grey one is my other cat, Twilight. She's not a fullbreed ragdoll though.

The ragdoll cat has a slight appearance of a siamese, but they are more Maine coon in body style/hair.

Here's a recent pic of my two. Godiva still "wows" 'em at the vet because most people have never seen a Havana Brown. Just had her there last month and had 4 more teeth pulled. She's down to only 12 teeth but only 5 have been pulled under my care Adult cats are supposed to have 30 teeth.

Moral of the story: Make sure your cats get proper dental cleanings regularly,

Hey all!
I won't be around much this week as I'm currently serving Jury Duty in Paterson, NJ, so I don't have the luxury of posting all day on H.O.M. from my job. Laughing

Anyway, thought ya might dig these pix. We had a MASSIVE series of rain storms over this past weekend that have caused flash floods all around Passaic County (thankfully I live in the higher elevations!), and as I drove around Paterson today I snapped these shots of some of what they're going thru along the Passaic River.

Yes, that is a bridge under all that water. The river was so high that it just went right over it. The rushing water was so loud that it sounded like the ocean!!
