I know that you're not exactly the biggest Nickelback fan, but you're right, their latest one sucks. If you really want to be fair to them, try their pre-2007 stuff. "Silver Side Up" is a very good modern rock album.

I forgot, I also recently listened to the Skyliner demo. Great stuff OCI, your vocals are unique and not overpowering and your music is very melodic and really stays in your head. Look forward to hearing more of what you guys can do. Not sure if they're an influence or not, but musically it reminds me a little of early Fates Warning.
