| So there's a feature up at ClassicRockMagazine.com called 10 Pop/Rock Collaborations That Worked -- Or Didn't - Quote :
3. Judas Priest – It seemed like an interested idea. Get the icons of metal to work with Stock, Aitken & Waterman, the high priests of pop. This happened at the end of the 1980s, but the results were allegedly so disastrous that the band won’t let anyone hear the tracks! What's this about Priest trying to go pop? First I've ever heard of it.

| Sounds fine to me. Priest has always been more pop-y than most metalheads would like to admit, and not just on "Turbo". | |

| The end result, without the Stock, Aitken & Waterman stuff was Turbo, if I remember correctly. _________________ | |

| I think Kmorg is right. Can you imagine those songs even poppier? |

I think you mean "poop-ier". _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| I love "Turbo". It's actually one of my favorite Judas Priest albums. | |

Well, according to what little info I could find, Priest probably owns whatever was worked on and have said they'll never release it. Since Turbo was originally going to be a double called Twin Turbos, I'm guessing that missing disc accounts for the even more poppy stuff. I like Turbo.
