Started a new drawing Update 2-25-10

2-25-2010 Update
Added Bane and scanned it all in so I could do a print out for my son to color.
Phase 1 is basically done. Now I need to ink in shadows and a little more detail.








I think this is my first serious drawing since Ultimatum's "into the pit" artwork. Of course this is early stages. I plan on putting another villain or two on the other side. What y'all think so far?

Sweet! Wish I had talent like that. Maybe I could have but I never tried to imrove my skills when I was younger. And I have done very little drawing lately either.

The only thing I've ever drawn is our logo, in 7th grade, and other than that I suck, but now it's on shirts and cover art, so I'm happy.

I started on Scarecrow tonight. After I put him in, I'm thinking of trying to fit in Killer Croc, or part of him at least.

Id love to see a finished product of that, Ive always loved the whole Knightfall/Knightsend storyline of Batman, and Have always liked Azrael been beggin my artist friend in CT to do me a picture of him or a statue Im still waiting lol

Addy I did some research last night on Azrael. He has a couple of variations of costumes (all of them AWESOME). Which one do you like the best?

The Second one is my fav that IMO the 2nd one is the baddest kick ass batman ever designed

I reconize the first one as from the Sword of Azrael (if mem serves) and the last one was his current costume

The red one, #3, was from Sword of Azrael according to what I've seen, and the first one is the current one.

The best way to improve your drawing skills is doodling. There are 100's of notes from all my classes, that have doodles on them that are worthy of museums. However, if someone asked me to draw something, I probably wouldn't be able to do it without sitting through a boring lecture.

I miss the Azrael comics but number 2 is my number 1

Good stuff, man. I recently uncovered a batch of goofy cartoony comic books I did when I was a teen. Made me want to get back into drawing again. I'm waaaaayyy out of practice.
