Is "Mike Tramp's White Lion" looking for a bassist? I hear James Lomenzo has suddenly become available.
Wow. That's harsh. The corpse is still warm, man.
Wish I'd thought of it.
While I'm not the biggest fan, I gotta agree with the opinion that it's not White Lion without Vito. The guy brought something extra to the table with that band.
I was just thinking of that, too! "Mike & James' White Lion"!

Odd that we're talking about this band again lately, as I just found out that Cleopatra/Deadline Recs. recently (last month) re-issued White Lion's FIGHT TO SURVIVE debut.
Apparently it has a bunch of live tracks tacked on as bonus cuts.

Yeah, that is good news. I need to get "Fight to Survive" too. Then my White Lion discography will be complete.

I've really become a bigger fan of this band in the last six months or so. I've always liked them but never went beyond their greatest hits. These albums are really good. Finally completed the collection today when Return of the Pride arrived in the mail. Awesome album!

I've become a fan of this band in the past few months as well. I never really gave them a good listen in the past. I do think that their albums would have been better with a slightly less slick production, but otherwise, I can dig 'em. Great guitar player in Vito.

I always thought they were pretty decent, certainly no worse than the rest of the pop/hair metal from the period. As to whether they are metal or not, James Lomenzo is about as metal as you get for a bass player, I mean, White Lion-Ozzy-Black Label Society-Megadeth-I think he also played with David Lee Roth ,too. That's a pretty impressive resume.

I haven't listened to these guys in ages.
Love their sound. I have a best-of. But i need to invest more in their catalogue.

Their first two albums are just awesome IMO, Vito Bratta is a guitar hero and can keep up with the best of em. And Mike Tramps vocals are perfect for the brand of hard rock that they play. But that's just me being a fanboy, i guess.

Anyone have this version of "All That I Need" off of an Anthology CD?
