| Not anywhere close to metal, but are there any fans of Simple Minds here? I know Toho is with me on this one. | |

| I like all three of the bands mentioned, Simple Minds wrote some great songs, as did Tears for Fears and Big Country. | |

| They did, these are three of the 80's pop bands that really had a lot of talent. I like SM's the best of the three. |

| I like Tears for Fears as well. I'm not familiar with Big Country, but I checked out that samp you posted - and I like them! Now I'll have to hunt some down for the collection! Simple Minds is one of my favorite bands though. | |

I do like Tears for Fears and Modern English Modern English is another band I really like. I have most of their albums. You should check out Simple Minds' Greatest Hits album Addy. It's called "Glittering Prize" - and it really showcases the wide spectrum of the band. That way you can check out if you like them or not. That's what I did - and I'm now on a mission to acquire every last album they have released. | |

| Yeah, good idea. They really didn't sound like, Don't You Forget About Me, overall. |

| I have their greatest hits, and there's some excellent stuff on it. Jim Kerr had a great (and unusual) voice. They also had a political slant, too, with songs like Biko and Belfast Child. | |

| I only have their Greatest Hits (Glimmering Prize 82 to 92), but I listen to it quite often. As a matter of fact, I had it on the car last week. | |
