John Cyriis

Truly a genius singer.

Other than the 2 Agent Steel albums, is there anything else he sings on?

I know he worked with Abatoir, but I though he played guitar or something for them....

He did a few other demos with bands called (IIRC) PONTIUS PROPHET and STELLAR SEED. They weren't too great IIRC.

He may have one other more recent project too but I haven't heard that one, I just heard he had done something in the 2000s.

Do you have those demos, Jim?

I know I have some mp3's of the PP stuff. Will look and see if I have SS too.

He also sang on Abattoir's Screams from the Grave on Metal Massacre 4. Cyriis is probably one of my favorite thrash vocalists.

I thought steller seed wasnt bad, not as good as Agent steel or anything classic cyriis. I thought I remember hearing him say in a interview that he was working on a metal/instrumental project. I cant remember if that is pontius prophet or something else.

I'm a huge Agent Steel fan. Cyriis is a very private person...and also a bit of an sfincter as well.
I have one demo song he did for his last project Stellar Seed, but it sounds like it was recorded through an alien dream.

I think he currently lives in Japan.

Man, Dave - you n me must be in the same stratosphere. I do not watch blubbermouth-tv or subscribe to any online-metal-nuus. So, to be honest, I really do not know what is happening "by the minute". The last I heard, Cyriis was missing in action and supposed perished by forces unknown.

Good to hear that kickass vocalist is still putting his vox to magnetic tape though.

What a strange,strange man... No denying his vocal talent though.

The guy sounds like a nut on par with that (Heaven's Gate) cult.

I've only heard his work with Agent Steel. Which is awesome!!

When I spoke to Bruce, AS's current singer, he told me he met Cyriis back in the 80s and said how much they've been talking about aliens and all that stuff when they could have been getting laid. I bet Cyriis would screw an alien.

You know something, I think i would too.
