| I look forward to this site's year end list every year. I like it because like Bravewords.com, the list isn't based one person's opinion, it's the result of a poll among all of their staff writers. Plus they post the individual staff lists as well.

| Some interesting choices and some not so surprising. I was surprised to see that Steel Panther album rate so high and appear on so many individual lists as well. Doesn't the joke get old after 3 or 4 spins? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| I think it's old after half a spin. At least they picked real metal. |

| I like Metal-Rules. Good choices. Loved the fact that the top 2 were of the Doom variety | |

Yeah, me too. I have to admit, I like the music, but I can't get pass the lyrics. I guess I can appreciate what they are trying to do, but it's just not that funny to me. It's too vulgar for my taste.

| Winterborn nowhere to be seen................interesting they chose the new Candlemass and Dark Moor though....those haven't made as much waves as their predecessors. | |

| Glad to see Tyr on there...as my #4 (I think) of 2009, I agree with most of their assessment of that album. What do the fine folks here think of their #1 and #2 picks? | |

| I can see the Sabbath record @ #1, but I haven't heard the Candlemass. |

Fine with H&H at #1. Candlemass is very good but I don't know if I'd put it in the number 2 slot. Somewhere in the Top 10 for sure, but probably not 2. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | I was surprised to see Heaven and Hell at number one. Not because it isn't deserving, it's a good CD and I'm sure a lot of people really love it, but because I've looked at so many lists for 2009 and they were the only site that listed H&H at number one. It just kinda took me by surprise.

| Yeah, I think Heaven and Hell was a great choice for number one. Heck, as far as 'group best ofs', this one is the best I've seen so far. Better than the BW&BK one for sure. | |

What do the fine folks here think of their #1 and #2 picks? Just picked that one up and will see them in September!
