Any fans of The Eagles?

Honestly, I was never a fan of this band before a couple years ago. Now I like em quite well.

Love The Eagles.

Yeah, their early stuff is more "country rock" than rock but I still dig it. And ever since Joe Walsh joined their ranks, they've become more rock-oriented.

I got their "Hell Freezes Over" DVD a couple years ago and it proved that this band can still kick ass even after all this time. And Joe is hilarious in it...

I've only got Greatest Hits 1 and 2, but they're both great. Number 1, like Toho said, is more country flavored and the second one is pretty hard-rocking. So yeah, I guess you could say I'm a fan but I think I prefer their solo careers. Walsh, Henley, Frey and Felder all made some great stuff on their own.

THIS! I was lucky enough to score most of their discography for Christmas. Great band.

I currently have "Their Greatest Hits" and their latest album, "Long Road Out of Eden". I like them both.

What do you guys think of their last one?

I thought the double album was bloated.

Take the best songs off both discs and condense them into a single album and I think you have a killer Eagles disc.

Yeah, I agree with that. I just took "Long Road out of Eden" out and spun it while I was cooking supper tonight.

There are some damn fine songs on there, but they are sandwiched between a bit of filler.

I still like the album, but I'd daresay it's not one of their best.

What are your favorite studio albums Toho (or anyone else)?

I'd like to acquire more of their stuff.

Sometimes I can get Peaceful Easy Feeling in my head, and it's stuck there for days. Desperado is quite the classic, makes one realize we're not here forever, make it happen while your here to do so.

Love/hate. Some stuff is way too 'hey babyyyy' white boy 70's schlock. Then there are songs they just nail it and it's classic.

My favorite studio albums are Hotel California and The Long Run.

Yes, I love the Eagles. I saw them live during one of their many "this-is-ultimately-positively-our-last" tours. Their sound was simply phenomenal live. I own most of their stuff, and absolutely love Hotel California and The Long Run. I love thier Walsh stage, but also enjoy their earlier releases.

I love this band, can't listen to metal 100%. Best album is The Long Run imho. Some excellent vocal harmony.

I could never get into this band, all very talented musicians, songwriters, i can't deny that but never a band I could get into.

I have every album they've made but I prefer One Of These Nights (my fave), The Long Run (except the radio hits), and Desperado. The Long Road Out Of Eden pretty much sucked IMO.

It's ok Manny, they've done ok without your support. As I age I can much more realize a groups talent without liking them. I used to be, they suck, but life's too short too always have that attitude.

Even though I've really enjoyed their music throughout the years (especially when Bernie Leadon & Randy Meisner were in the band) and have had the pleasure to see them in concert, I've begun to loathe them somewhat. I'm getting seriously tired of the, "We're breaking up/We're retiring" ploy that has been going on for years. These acts have allowed the group to charge enormous prices for their concerts, and I simply won't fall for those tactics. It's the equivalent of a boxer retiring time again, simply to build up the purse for the fight. I think it's a joke.
