I too really enjoy the new Shadowkeep s/t release. It is more aggressive than their previous ones as even though they are all amazing, this one is full on 'in your face'. (With Little Lion being the exception.) The band pulls no punches and keeps up the high intensity from first track to last.
There is a thing I call the James Rivera effect where his style molds most bands he's associated with into a sort of similar (though good) sound ala Helstar/Malice/Vicious Rumors, but Shadowkeep is an obvious exception as the band has a more progressive bent to their song writing and it's own unique stamp. I hope they come up with more music in the future.
