| Seems there were a lot of killer CD reissues in 2009. What are some of your favorites?
TARGET - Master Project Genesis/Mission Executed Killer thrash metal band! Can't believe I missed out on these guys until this year!
THRESHER - This Is It/Totally Possessed Always loved Totally Possessed. Still have the original demo. This Is It is similar stylistically to Totally Possessed. Excellent release.
ULTIMATUM - Puppet of Destruction/Fatal Delay Always hated the original mastering on this album. I thought the bottom end was just completely lost. That is totally remedied on this remaster.
TWISTED SISTER - Stay Hungry This CD always was a bit wimpier than the two that proceeded it. The remastering is an improvement over the original. Having a whole disc of album outtakes and demos only adds to the appeal. Big screw up on the record companies part when they accidentally released the unmastered version. To those who purchased the original they sent a new disc with the properly mastered recording, an apology letter from J J French and a Twisted Sister pin (to wear on your uniform, of course!) _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I like all of those ultmetal and SpecteFate listed, maybe except for the Stay Hungry one. It just came off as unnesecary. _________________ | |

| Nitefall - Red Moon RisingClassic American heavy/power/doom metal, kinda like a mixture of Candlemass and Mercyful Fate. This was released on Stormspell, so you know where to get it. Enforcer - Classic Chicago Metal
Get this for the first five tracks. Classic Chicago-style heavy/doom metal, ala Trouble and War Cry. It doesn't get any heavier than classic cuts like High Treason, Salem's Curse, and Final Conflict. Iron Man - Black NightShadow Kingdom Records finally rereleased this out of print Maryland doom metal classic. Although it's not as good as their recent album, it still holds up pretty darn well, with a heavier sound to boot. I can't imagine anyone into Black Sabbath not liking this. Other great reissues: Ultimatum - Puppet of Destruction Genocide Nippon - Black Sanctuary Old Yron - Old Yron Revelation - ...Yet So Far Novy Zavet - Apocalypse

I think Metal Mind did them last year (or was it 2007?). _________________

| I absolutely loved Whitesnake's Slide It In Deluxe Edition (U.S/U.K mix remastered w/DVD), and I really enjoyed Def Leppard's "Pyromania" Deluxe Edition (Remastered w/live show 1983). I was even able to find both on sale, | |

| Vulture's EASIER TO LIE and Liege Lord's FREEDOMS RISE/BURN TO MY TOUCH from In-Rock were sweet. ...and I also really liked Divebomb Records' demo compilations from Dominance (RESURRECTED) and Solitude (POISONED PLANET). ... those are the only "2009 reissues" I can think of off the top of my head. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
