Interesting article, good because of the respectful tilt and the awareness it will bring; bad because of the exclusivity the study tags onto black metal. One pores through it wondering why such labels aren't equally applied to other subgenres that commonly probe similar viewpoints, and if the latest hoopla about that particular scene does anything to serve spoiled, fragile BM egos that STILL ironically need to feel interesting.
