No laughing. I'm burnt out on metal anymore, so I've been going a more pop route. I applaud your choice. |

I have no idea what this album sounds like but if it is half as good as 'New Miserable Experience" then I would say you have a winner. BTW today: R.E.M.-Eponymous

It's actually good to take a break from metal every now and then. I'm back full force into metal now, but about a month ago I was indulging in all kinds of pop, goth and industrial stuff. I do this every 3 or 4 months. It helps me appreciate metal more. Now I gotta get back to banging my head to some death and thrash metal.

I never would have pegged you for a Gin Blossoms guy Nevermore. Nice diversity. That's one of the things that blows me away about this board. When I first started posting here I was afraid my taste in music would be a problem (as I have very diverse tastes). However, I've come to realize that most people here are like myself. They love metal first and foremost, but aren't afraid of admitting they like other stuff too. That's awesome and very rare for a metal board. This place is actually my #1 home now online. Even moreso than Rock Island.

As an RI staff member, I probably shouldn't admit it but I spend more time here too. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| BTW, If you go back a few posts in this thread, you'll see I was spinning the last Gin Blossoms album "Major Lodge Victory" myself today. Coincidence? _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I am a big fan of kraut and space rock, AOR as well as metal. Ill throw some more popular stuff in too. Variety is the spice of life. As for RI - my posting there is way down there but not due to the music. but to be fair boards ebb and flow... _________________
