| Did you guys know that Gus Chambers joined this band after Henner died? I had no frickin' idea! I didn't even know the band carried on! Gus has one of the baddest metal voices ever. I need this new CD. http://www.myspace.com/squealerad |

| I heard of this band for a long time but never picked anything up til tonight. Found The Prophecy for 2.99 cant go wrong there. Only listened to the first song but thats all I needed cause that made this cd a keeper for me. I'll be listening to the rest of this. So I clicked on that link to their myspace page and holy crap their music isnt even the same as it is on the album I got. They changed a lot since their original singer died. I'll be on the look out for more of their albums but im not sure I really liked the newer stuff when Gus was in the band. They have a new singer now so i'll have to look around for some samples to see how they sound now. _________________ | |

They're not really even the same on The Prophecy as they were on their first 2 full-lengths and debut EP. They used to play speed / thrash on those, and went into a more power metal sound on The Prophecy. That continued until they did Confrontation Street. _________________ You're cancer, you can't be the answer, you're killing me

| I've had The Prophecy for some time now and I just recently gave it another spin, based on this thread. I think it's gonna go in the "trade" pile if anyone is interested. It's not bad, but I don't think it's something I'd listen to very often. | |

You gots a PM sir. I'd be interested in taking that Squealer off your hands if you're gonna dump it... I had it for a while some years ago and traded it off, but kinda regretted it later. It's not a great album, but that cover of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy The Silence" (!) was pretty damn cool. By the way... this is the band whose first singer died in a car accident, and now his replacement (the former Grip Inc. guy) is now dead as well. Is the lead vocal position for this band cursed or somethin'? _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
