Fireball's probably my second favorite album from Mark II, I dont like it as much as In Rock, because nothing really touches that, but I love the maturity and experimentation on Fireball while still retaining heaviness.

I love Fireball...those albums are pretty much tied in my book. It doesn't get much better than the studio version of "The Mule" or "No One Came"...which is my all-time favorite Purple tune.

Not to turn this into a Purple thread, but in my opinion, if "Anyone's Daughter" was replaced with...let's say..."Freedom" then "In Rock" and "Fireball" would be tied in my book.
