| Incredible. This is one of those albums that I don't think about much, but every time I put it in I think "this is just incredibly good." There's so much to praise about this album. I especially love the vibe/mood. It does put me in a mood or feel like a Northern place or a black winter day when I'm listening. Brilliant. | |

| This is one of those rainy day discs for me, with all the beautiful atmosphere. Other rainy day discs are:
Ashen Mortality "Sleepless Remorse" Seventh Angel "Lament For the Weary" Schaliach "Sonrise" Angelica "Walkin' in Faith" (don't ask me to explain this one) Mortal "Fathom" | |

| Great album and one of the best death metal CDs ever (it's also what I call real melodic death metal). However, IMO the music on the EP Black Winter's Day is far superior. Too bad they changed sounds after that because another one in that vein would have been freakin' sweet. I liked Elegy and the last two discs but no other death metal band had a sound like that. | |

| More of a fan of The Karelian Isthmus, which had more epic going for it. But the Abhorrence material is even better. | |
