Firewind

I really like this band ... a lot. I heard that Gus G. might be the official new guitarist of Ozzy's band, so I hope that doesn't interfere with Firewind. I know Gus would be making a lot more money with Ozzy, but still.

Any other fans here? What are your favorite albums?

I only have two albums thus far, but I do plan on filling all the holes in my collection someday.

My favorite is "The Premonition". That album just rings of greatness IMHO. I also have "Burning Earth", and while I don't hold that one in such high regard as "The Premonition", it's still a good, worthy outing.

Actually IMO I believe Gus will do 1 cd with Ozzy. And as Gus has stated a couple weeks back Firewind is his primary band in fact they are going into the studios this fall and expect to have a new cd late winter early spring in 2010.

That's great news! Actually I'm also looking forward to hearing Gus with Ozzy. I bet that'll really add some new life to Ozzy's music!

Love this band! I didn't hear about them until Gus G left Dream Evil. Been hooked ever since. The Premonition is great and so is Allegiance. The other albums are good too but sometimes I didn't care for the singers. Apollo is a great singer as well.

I like all their albums but Apollo took them to a new level.

I like this band. The Premonition is my favorite cd.

Great band, I have everything they've put out.

Start with their latest album, "The Premonition". Most seem to agree it's their best. I certainly love it!!!

I love all of their albums. But "Forged In Fire" is a personal favorite. Gus has a nack for finding virtualy unknown singer, that absolutly amazes me! Guess it will be a step down to work with Ozzy!

I bought Allegiance from a dump bin at FYE and it may be one of my best cheap finds this year. Couldn't believe how much I loved it. Now in search of the others.

Favorite would have to be Burning Earth, that cd is catchy as hell!

The sad state of metal in the US is that Allegiance is in the dump bin.

Their entire catalogue is great. Love this band.

I have the last three and really like these guys. I didn't get into them until last summer. I really like them. Awesome news on Gus joining up with Ozzy.
